The cruise begins as we depart Seattle, Washington on Saturday and sail north to the untouched natural beauty of Alaska. The luxurious Norwegian Jewel will be your home for this 7-night Alaskan adventure.

Sunday we begin a relaxing day at sea with a Sunday morning worship service. While cruising, keep an eye out for wildlife sightings of whales, eagles, and the majestic humpback whale.

Monday morning we dock at the fishing village of Ketchikan. Surrounded by some of the world's most lush wilderness, Ketchikan is best known as the "Salmon Capital of the World."

On Tuesday morning we dock in Alaska's state capital of Juneau, a wonderful old mining town surrounded by natural beauty. There you can see the famous Mendenhall Glacier - it's actually within the city limits. Tuesday afternoon we enter the fjord of Tracy Arm and cruise to the site of Twin Sawyer Glacier. Once the captain has positioned the ship near the glacier, we will pause to view the magnificence of God's creation. 

Wednesday is a call at rustic Skagway, Alaska, home to the White Pass & Yukon Route railroad. This Northernmost port of the Inside Passage is best known as the beginning of the Chilkoot trail that was used by gold seekers in the late 1800's. Be sure to take a stroll down the wooden sidewalks in the former gold rush frontier town while here.

Thursday is a great time to enjoy the numerous amenities of the Norwegian Jewel as we head back south along the Alaskan coast.

Friday afternoon we dock at British Columbia's capital city of Victoria. This picturesque city situated on the southern end of Vancouver Island, has an intimate charm with a distinctly English flavor and is home to the world famous Butchart Gardens.

Our magnificent journey ends on Saturday when the ship returns to Seattle, Washington. You'll have an enjoyable cruise and will return with memories to cherish forever!
